Frequently Asked Questions

We consider all bikes, however we prefer to focus on brands such as: Carrera, Scott, Specialized, Voodoo, B-TWIN, Ridgeback and Merida. Please contact us for more information.

We will offer you a Trade Value and with that value, you can use that on any of our bikes or products.

If your trade value exceeds the value of the goods you’re buying, we can offer cash on top.

If your trade value is below the value of good that you’re buying, you will have to add cash on top.

We provide each bike a full service which includes:

  1. Removing the wheels gears
  2. Removing transmission parts and clean or replace them
  3. Clean the wheels – tension and true them
  4. Check for any brake blocks and replace them if necessary
  5. Replacing all the cables

We often replace the chain, cassette and other components when necessary.

We also offer a one month repair guarantee but if you do have an accident or damage the bike yourself, there may be a small cost incurred.

Simple! As we’re essentially an exchange for bicycles, the price you’re paying is what the bicycle is worth today – in the resale market.

As a growing business, we’re not yet able to buy bicycles over the cash value of £300. We can however make exceptions on a case by case basis.

Note: We’ll soon be expanding and we’ll increase our buying power in due course.

As much as we would like to consider them, we believe these kind of bicycles would be much better suited in the local cycling charities – as they cost low to repair. If you do donate a bicycle to a local charity and are able to provide us with confirmation – we’ll happily offer a £15 discount on any of our bicycles.

While we consider most bicycles, we do not accept:

  1. Any bicycles that have come from the Recycling Centre

2. Resellers that have bought bicycles from the Recycling Centre

3. Bicycles with scratched off Serial Numbers or Painted Frames

Our prices are determined by the following:

  1. Condition of the bicycle

2. Brand of the bicycle

3. Production of any proof of purchase/receipts

Please note: Any offer may be lower without a receipt.

Our grading system is as follows:

(A) – Excellent Condition

(B) – Good Condition

(F) – Functional

(NF) – Not Functional

(S) – Strip

Selling your bicycle is easy! You can either come into our store for an instant cash offer or complete our Sell Your Bicycle form and we’ll get back to with a cash offer / trade value. If you accept our offer, we can arrange a collection or you can visit our store.

We try our best to consider all bicycles, but there are some types we are not bale to buy for cash just yet: i.e. Children’s Cycles, Vintage Cycles and Tricycles.

We can sometimes accept them as a trade in or we offer £15 off any of our bicycles – if you donate them to a local cycling charity.
